Would you like to save yourself over $1,000 on your adoption expenses?

With the high costs that adoption entails, many families are seeking alternative ways to defray costs. One of these ways is Finalizing your own adoption (Pro Se).

Our family has successfully completed the Adoption Finalizations Pro Se for our last 3 children. My husband and I have designed simple-text Instructions, written in 6-easy-steps on 'how to' finalize and represent yourself in Adoption Court. It includes the necessary legal documents available for downloading, with examples in the spaces you simply replace with your own personal information.

In July/2000, we spent $110 for Court costs and $28 for a Birth Certificate for our newest child. That's it! Another couple completing their Adoption Finalization in Court along with us paid $1,600 for the services of their Lawyer, plus the $28 fee for their child's Birth Certificate!

How much time is needed to finalize on your own?

One to two hours of your time at the computer are all that is needed to prepare and print out the paperwork. You will also need to make 2 or 3 trips to your County Court for filing your paperwork, requesting a calendar date, and the finalization court date.
